So I have a very annoying issue.. I bought a twin turbo z about 2 months ago (after having owned a non-turbo for 5 years) and after getting it home realized that occasionally when I hit it, the boost will cut out in the higher rpm's. This happens almost every single time I hit it in 1rst and 2nd, with the exception of when I have JUST gotten the car warmed up, and still then sometimes. Typically it doesn't do so in 3rd up, but if I have been driving around for awhile and gets hot then it begins to do it consistently in all gears. I do not have an aftermarket boost gauge, but on the stock gauge it says I am pushing about 14 psi. The car has the following mods - boost jets, ecu, intake, full exhaust. Stock injectors. Also bought silicone boost hoses (intake and intercooler) in case I had a boost leak there. (nope.) Now, if I don't take the boost all the way to 14, if say I hold it at about 12 (on stock boost gauge, I've heard they aren't terribly accurate but that I will give numbers based on that), then the boost will not cut out in any gear, although it is extremely difficult to watch the gauge and the road simultaneously. I reached my peak of annoyance when I finally found a modded STI to race and he won because of my issue. Anyways, does anyone have some ideas of what my problem could be? I've pondered all from engine running too hot (it is running at 200 degrees because the electric fan he put in will not kick on lower than that) to boost leaks to injectors not being able to handle the fuel flow, but I don't have much experience with the TT yet to know where to turn. Also, all vacuum lines are attached so that is not it. Thanks for any help
